Noto Sicily, “You may have the universe if I
may have Italy.”
Noto in Sicily is a museum in itself, steeped in rich history and cultural significance. During our stay, we had the pleasure of experiencing the charm and elegance of Hotel Dimora Santagatha. Nestled on the top floor in the vibrant heart of Noto’s historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this boutique hotel offers a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The architectural style of the hotel reflects centuries of history, while the early 20th-century furnishings exude vibrant colors, distinctive shapes, and traditional charm, providing guests with an authentic taste of Sicilian living.
Additionally, the hotel is also the proprietor of the concept store Santagatha Pozzilei, renowned as one of the most beautiful concept stores in the charming towns of Italy. The concept store showcases a curated collection of exquisite items, reflecting the owner’s impeccable taste and deep appreciation for art and design. It is undoubtedly a must-visit destination for those seeking unique and stylish finds in a picturesque setting.
Hotel Dimora Santagatha
A day spent at Beach Club San Lorenzo, the beach looks loike a place in the Bahamas. Indulging in shopping in the town, exploring the natural park, and culminating with dinner at Manna is a perfectly planned and enjoyable program in Noto. combine relaxation, leisure, nature, and gastronomy for a memorable and fulfilling time in Noto.
Our visit to Taormina was quite disappointing, as the area was incredibly crowded and overly touristy, which detracted from the overall experience. I would not recommend it as a destination due to these factors.
